A little campfire magic, a lot of heart, and just the right amount of pixie dust
Some families choose a beach. Some choose a park. And some choose a place that feels like home away from home—where memories have been made for years and traditions run deep.
For the Walker Hodge family, that place is Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground.
When it comes to family portraits, choosing a meaningful location is everything. A special place doesn’t just make portraits stand out—it makes them personal. It tells your story. It anchors the images to a season of life you’ll want to remember forever.
Josh and Brandon love to camp, and every few years they rent a spot right on Disney property at Fort Wilderness. From golf carts decorated with lights, to surprise treats hidden by fellow campers, to the iconic Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, this place is packed with joy, nostalgia, and tradition for their family.
So of course, this is where their family portraits needed to happen.
Fort Wilderness has such a unique feel—it’s rustic, relaxed, and still unmistakably Disney. Think towering pines, wooden fences, winding paths, and that cozy campground charm that makes you want to slow down and soak it all in.
We wandered the grounds together, capturing natural moments, laughter, and connection—no stiff posing, no rushing. Just a family being them, surrounded by a place that already holds so many memories.
One of the most magical parts of this session? Karaleigh’s 11th birthday wish.
Karaleigh is a horse lover through and through, and for her late-November birthday, she had one big request: photos with a horse. And because Fort Wilderness offers something truly special—the Tri-Circle-D Ranch—we were able to make that dream come true.
Watching her light up during this part of the session was pure magic. It was one of those moments where everything aligns: the location, the timing, the emotion. Exactly the kind of experience Disney is known for—and exactly why personalized sessions matter so much.
If you’re planning a Disney vacation and staying on property, family portraits at your resort are absolutely possible—and such a beautiful way to remember your trip.
📌 You must have a current Disney resort reservation for us to photograph on Disney property. We can’t just show up and take photos—but if you’re staying there, I can come directly to your resort or campground and photograph your family in a relaxed, meaningful way.
Whether it’s:
Fort Wilderness
A Disney resort walkway
Your cabin, campsite, or favorite quiet corner
Or a scenic spot near your hotel
We’ll plan everything so it feels easy and stress-free.
These aren’t just vacation pictures. They’re visual time capsules. They capture who you are right now—your traditions, your personalities, your connections.
And years from now, these images won’t just remind you of Disney.
They’ll remind you of this season of life.
If you’re visiting Disney and want portraits that feel personal, meaningful, and a little magical—I’d love to help you plan something unforgettable.
🔥 Camp vibes encouraged. Pixie dust guaranteed.
